چکیده
Objective: To investigate the protective effects of Haeganjeon on a thioacetamide (TAA)-induced liver fibrosis mouse model and to determine Haegan-jeon signaling pathway. Methods: Mice were randomly divided into 4 groups: Normal group (Nor), TAA-induced (Con), administered 50 mg/kg silymarin (S50), 200 (H200). The was established by intraperitoneal injection with TAA three times week for 8 weeks. During weeks, mice orally every day. At end study, serum collected measure levels AST, ALT, ammonia, myeloperoxidase (MPO). Liver tissue harvested analyzed western blotting Masson's trichrome staining. Results: Administration suppressed increase in MPO due fibrosis. Compared Con group, H200 showed increases antioxidant-related factors (Nrf2, HO-1, catalase, GPx-1/2) decreases inflammatory-related (NF-κB p65, p-IκB-α, Cox-2, iNOS, TNF-α, IL-1β) blots. treatment inhibited expression α-SMA Collagen I.Conclusions: hepatoprotective effect induced activation factors, such as Nrf2, it regulated inflammation response suppression NF-κB.

Regenerative Effect of Bone Marrow-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Thioacetamide-induced Liver Fibrosis of Rats
The present study determined the regenerative effect of bone marrow-derived stem cells (BMSCs) on thioacetamide (TA)-induced liver fibrosis in rats. A total of 30 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham control and treatment groups. The rats of the sham control group were subdivided into three groups and sampled on the 14th, 18th, and 20th weeks after fibrosis induction. The rats of th...

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Ginkgo biloba leaves extract on experimental liver fibrosis induced by thioacetamide (TAA) in male albino mice. The experimental mice were divided into four groups. The mice of the first group were served as control. The experimental animals of the second group were given 150 mg/kg body weight of TAA by intraperitoneal injection, twice w...
متن کاملPolaprezinc prevents ongoing thioacetamide-induced liver fibrosis in rats.
AIMS Cirrhotic patients commonly have a liver zinc deficiency, which may aggravate liver fibrosis due to the lack of antioxidative effects of zinc. This study examined the ability of polaprezinc, N-(3-aminopropionyl)-l-histidinato zinc, to prevent fibrosis in a rat model of thioacetamide (TAA)-induced hepatic fibrosis. MAIN METHODS Liver cirrhosis was induced by orally administering TAA for 2...
متن کاملDietary nucleotide supplementation reduces thioacetamide-induced liver fibrosis in rats.
Dietary nucleotides reportedly promote functionality and repair in fibrotic liver. Liver fibrosis is characterized by an excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix components, which lead to the impairment of the hepatic function. The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of dietary nucleotides on liver fibrosis induced by thioacetamide and to elucidate the mechanism by which nucleo...
متن کاملEffect of Thioacetamide on Rat Liver Regeneration
The effect of thioacetamide on dividing cells of regenerating rat liver has been studied. Rats were given daily subcutaneous injections of thioacetamide as a 1 per cent solution at a dosage of 5 mg./100 gm. body weight for 7 to 10 days, subjected to partial hepatectomy, and sacrificed 28 to 31 hours later. Thioacetamide treatment results in striking increases in the nuclear ribonucleoproteins o...
